Even in a difficult year like 2020, we had huge achievements.

One of these is related to the publication and validation of the use of Net Promoter Score with the patient’s safety view, the Net Promoter Score for Safety

Its use is serving as the basis for the Patient Safety Experience Map in Brazil, according to the patient perception of safety of our healthcare system.

Our CEO, Dr. Salvador Gullo Neto, recently published the article of his post-doc research at the School of Nursing – San Diego State University, regarding Patient Experience on safety protocols compliance, using the NPS adapted for patient safety (NPS-S).

“The lack of a simple and intuitive tool that can measure in manageable data, patient perception regarding the correct execution of safety protocols in healthcare institutions is one of the challenges faced by organizations that work with patient engagement as a quality and safety strategy. We chose to adapt the NPS tool, since it is already established in the healthcare market and the result was very interesting and promising. The NPS-S proved to be simple, easily understood by patients, and expressed numerically their perception about the execution of patient safety protocols in the institutions in which they were receiving treatment. Undoubtedly, having data quantified in this way will allow managers a differentiated view of their own organization and will help to redesign the way we deliver care and patient safety processes.”
